This website is our attempt as a family to share with family and friends the events and happenings in the Watt home in Salt Lake City. Additionally, we will be posting genealogy  from both Lupe's and Dan's ancestors in an attempt to share our genealogy with those who are working on their family lines. Please enjoy this web site as window into our family.

Family News

Here are some of the recent events in the Watt family household.

• Dec 06 -- Spent Christmas in warmer Phoenix Arizona with Grandma and Grandpa. I took the girls geocaching in the Phoenix area.
• Oct 06 -- I went camping in the west desert with Katie and Kelsey.
• Sep 06 -- I decided to put up a George D. Watt and Andrew K. Watt website. Stay tune
• Aug 06 -- We attended the George D. Watt Family reunion and our family went camping in Mirror Lake.  See Family Vacation page.
• June 06 -- We went on a family road trip of 3500 miles. See Summer Road Trip 2006
• May 06 -- Katie had a fear factor birthday party. Everybody was amazed at all the preparation Lupe put into it. And everyone had a good time. Katie's fear factor birthday party.  We went on our first campout of the year. We went camping in the west desert near Topaz mountain.  See West Desert Camping.
• Arp 06 -- On Mar 30^th Nannette went back to the hospital needing O₂.  So we spent the conference weekend in the Hospital as a family with Nannette. I have added another web page. See my new quotes page  Nannette also got asked out to the prom by a young man named Matt. After she got a make over, highlights, mom did her hair and a new dress, Nannette looked stunning and of course she had a good time.
• Mar 06  --  We took the family to Disneyland for a few days and visited my sister in Southern California. See the vacation page on our trip
• Dec 05 -- The family spent Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Phoenix. We have added a Family Joke File and a Travel Log of Dan's business trips around the world.
• Nov 05 -- Nannette got sick this week. We were planning on going to Phoenix for Thanksgiving, but we had to cancel our travel plans because we can't travel when she is on O₂
• Oct 05 -- Danny took another new job at work as Director over all of the Hardware development at L-3 CSW
• Aug 05 -- (18^th-20^th)The Watt family went on a two night camping trip at mirror lake. The girls enjoyed launching water balloons into the lake the most. See it at our Family Vacation page.
• Aug 05  --Kaite had her tonsils removed. She is doing well.
• July 05 -- Dan went on a fishing trip to Alaska (30 miles outside of Juneau). Pictures and narrative of his trip can be found at Family Vacations.
• June 05 -- We went on vacation to west Texas to visit family, we also visited Mesa Verde in Southern Colorado. Go to Family Vacations for more info.
• May 05 -- Katie was baptized and confirmed a member of the church. It was a special day and Danny baptized and confirmed her.
• Feb 05 -- Lupe and I went on a cruise to the western Caribbean. We visited  Rotan Honduras, Grand Cayman, Belize City Belize, and Cozemel Mexico. Pictures and narrative can be found at
• Jan 05 -- Danny took a new Job at work as Director over Engineering Air Force Transformational Communications
• Dec 04 -- Alexander took his first steps by himself
• Sept 04 -- Dan traveled on business to Florida and saw the ravaged Orlando area where Hurricane Francis had blown by earlier. I left just before Jeanne hit the area.
• Feb 04 -- Alexander went to the hospital for 3 days with RSV
• Jan 04 -- Lupe had surgery on her shoulder on the 29th.
• Dec 03 -- We spent the holidays at home. Pam and her boy friend Dave came and spent Christmas with us.
• Sept 03 -- Alexander Daniel Watt was born. 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long on 30th
• Jun 03 -- Lupe is helping out with girls camp this summer and the entire watt family plans on spending  a whole week during the summer of 03 at camp. She went to camp and broke her leg bone just above her ankle bone. She will be off of it for 6 weeks.
• Jun 03 -- We had a flood in our basement. We are still trying to get things back to normal downstairs.
• May 03 -- Lupe is pregnant with our 4th child. On the 21st we found out that it is a Boy! We are considering names like Mega and Kilo.
• May 03 -- Katie had her dance recital. She had two 5 minute performances with the other members of her dance class at Bennion Middle school in Taylorsville
• Apr 03 --Katie had a dance competition on the 26th of Apr and won a trophy with her class.
• Apr 03 --Nannette went back into the hospital for 2 days, due to an asthma flair up.
• Jan 03 -- Dan and Lupe went on a Caribbean cruise. They had a great time and can not wait to go again.
• Jan 03 -- Lupe's father died at the age 76. We all loved him very much and will miss him. We are looking forward to doing his temple work in the Jordan River Temple in Jan 04.
